This is one of my new favorite T-shirts. I got it in Des Moines while we were visiting Ashley and Yeison. The store was full of Iowa shirts. Seriously.

What is a "Temporary Iowegian"?

I've been meaning to start this blog for a while, but I've just had lots of other things come up in the meantime. But I finally decided I needed to just do this, or else the Iowa Corn Mafia might come knock down my door soon.

Anyhow, I am a Temporary Iowegian, or at least I was. That's why it's temporary. When we went to visit my friend Brad and his family in December of 2011, he said that he expected a blog out of the visit. Not a page or a blog post, he was sure to make clear, but a bona-fide blog. This is that blog. We were only there for about 5 or 6 days, so this will surely be one of the shortest blogs I'll ever have, but oh well. I told him I'd make the blog, and here it is! 

Temporary Iowegian will be your one-stop-shopping for all reading material related to Iowa, at least as it pertains to our visit. I'll also put up some pictures for your viewing enjoyment, and a little bird on my shoulder indicated that there might even be a video in it for you! So, stay tuned!
